Yessi Hernández is an actress, writer and producer, born in Caracas, Venezuela, of Cuban and Spanish descent. She began her acting studies at Teatro UCAB while pursuing a degree in Social Communications. On TV, she stood out as TV Host in “Soy Un Boom” that led in the rating of her country in Prime Time for 4 years, she also worked as a radio host for the stations Hot94.1FM and 88.1FM. Her debut role was Nina in a stage production of “The Seagull” by Anton Chekhov. She moved to New York City in 2015, after having studied for two years at Gimnasio de Actores and having obtained a diploma in the Stanislavski Method at Universidad Central de Venezuela. Graduated from the conservatories of Stella Adler Studio of Acting and HB Studio, she founded her theater company “Corezon”, and performed in outstanding productions such as “La Casa de Bernarda Alba”, “Lo que Kurt Cobain se llevó”, “Delicadas”,” Vestido de Novia” and “God of Vengeance “. Her work has been recognized in the United States by the HOLA Awards, Latin ACE Awards, ATI, ARTE, and Latin Alternative Theater Awards as an actress and playwright. In 2020, she launched her digital magazine and events company “La Guía Cultural” to support Hispanic artists and culture in North America. Currently, she is filming the series “Camerino Times” under the role of Kat in New York.
